I’ve recently shot elite light heavyweight, Martin Foru. With twenty-two wins in twenty-six bouts, he has attracted attention from the British Olympic team who he now trains with. He got into the sport at thirteen and has worked tirelessly to make a name for himself ever since.
Foru attributes his success to his drive, dedication and passion for the sport. Training is his foundation and every second of it counts. The sweat and sacrifice are integral to his strategy. He uses creative visualisation to enable him to enjoy the pain and suffering of the gym. Every day, pushing himself to his limits. His aim is to “to secure multiple world titles in different weight classes and leave this sport known as one of the greatest, there’s no other way out!”
